TiPSS (Tilted Plate Separation System)

VWS MPP Systems offers a range of equipment especially designed for (pre-)treatment of Oily Waste Waters either for Upstream or Downstream Oil & Gas applications.

The separation of contaminants (oil, gas, solids or combinations) is gravity driven based on particle size and density differences between various components.

All Tilted Plate Separation Systems (TiPSS™) use plate sets (Lamellar plate packs) in order to increase the separation surface.

TiPSS™ equipment is characterised by its reliability, simplicity, minimal maintenance and operating costs along with flexibility in operation.

The TiPSS portfolio holds 4 basic types of separators, each developed for specific applications.

VWS MPP Systems a dedicated Oil & Gas Industry service and solutions provider has extensive experience in designing, engineering, document control and fabrication according to the Oil & Gas Industry Standards. Based on a standard range of equipment we can customize any unit to the client specifications.

  •  CPI (Corrugated Plate Interceptor) also known as TPI (Tilted Plate Interceptor) used for treatment of oily waste water with limited amounts of solids like (storm)run-off water, tank drainage water and used on Refineries, Tank terminals, Airports etc.

.

  • Cross-Flow CPI or CFI used for removal of solids and oil. The Cross-Flow CPI may be applied in similar applications as the CPI when solids loads are higher and specific process flows that require dedicated solids removal and thickening Major markets are the Petro-Chemical industry. Steel Mills etc.
  • Pressurised CPI of pCFI is used when the oily waste water is under (high) pressure and pressure reduction by control valve would lead to undesired emulsification of oils. Main application is for treatment of Oil/Gas field Produced Water treatment but also for dedicated process flow where gasses, organic phases and water solutions have to be separated
  • DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation) is used for enhanced removal of oils and organic solids either or downstream of a (Cross-Flow) CPI
